I thought that waking up at 3:30 am would be plenty of time to arrive before the sun had swallowed the shadows whole.

It was 97 degrees at 5:43 am, the moon was setting slower than the sun was rising, or so it seemed.

When i found myself running barefoot across the imperial dunes at 6:58 am, i laughed out loud.

This is when i feel most alive.

Stalking an edge, this one migrating from wind and light.
